As the Platform Lead for the Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium (STCC) Translational Research Integration & Support (TRIS) platform, Asst Prof Jason Chan leads various multi-institutional projects at the national-level which focus on developing, testing, and validating potential new biomarkers and molecular diagnostics.
Asst Prof Jason is also a senior consultant medical oncologist at Division of Medical Oncology, National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS). He concurrently serves as the Director at NCCS Cancer Discovery Hub and Division of Medical Oncology Research.
Asst Prof Jason has been actively involved in research and education. While Asst Jason’s special clinical interests are in lymphomas and rare cancers, his key research interests lie in unravelling the causes and molecular pathobiology of rare cancers with the aim of improving clinical care of patients inflicted with these diseases.
He is a Principal Investigator (PI) of the STARLIGHT Initiative for Rare Cancer Research and Education, theme PI for SYMPHONY (Singapore Lymphoma Translational Study) and Executive Committee member for TETRAD (TargEted TheRApy for blooD Cancer).
He was awarded the Singapore National Medical Research Council (NMRC) Transition Award in 2021. For his mentorship efforts of medical students, clinical residents and budding researchers, Asst Prof Jason has been conferred the National University of Singapore Dean's Award for Teaching Excellence and SingHealth RiSE Outstanding Faculty Awards.

With a PhD in Cancer Biology from National University of Singapore and over 16 years of working experience in prominent academic institutions, Dr Michal Marek Hoppe brings solid experience in biomedical and translational cancer research.
As a Senior Data Scientist at Singapore Translational Cancer Consortium (STCC), Dr Michal evaluates data to drive scientific innovations and conducts interpretations of high-dimensional molecular profiling of tumour tissues. Dr Michal has deep interest in digital pathology, statistics, programming, application of machine learning and deep learning. His special interests also include creative data visualisation.
